This week we had Friday night off. It was fantastic. After a quick nap to make up for five hours of sleep a small group of us went downtown to experience Asheville. The locals described the event that took place next as "The Drum Circle." We referred to it as "The Hippie Dance Party." In short it was a group of about 200 people in the middle of the city making some beats on their drums. There were so many unbathed humans and other recognizable smells in that circle. However, it was terrifically entertaining and I of course danced like an idiot. One of my favorite games was "Dance Like You Favorite Hippie." I used some of the African dance moves I learned at Thespian Conference a few years ago. Next time you see me ask and I'll demonstrate my new favorite dance move.
