Into the Woods

It's good to know that you always have to people to fall back on. People who are there to build you and and remind you that you matter. Tonight the Chicago team go back together at the infamous Baker residence to catch up and look a pics. It was good to reconnect( in the words of Jay Strother) with the people I had gotton to know so well last week. It is really comforting to know that people in your family care and they are there to be just that, family. I want to let everyone know how ironic I think life is. I believe that God created irony and uses it on a day to day basis just to mess with us. As a four year veteren of the RHS forensics team I have led the raptors in our black and red tees to boo Brentwood, but as fate would have it, I am now increasingly interested in UCLA, home of 30,000 students and the blue and gold Bruin! What are the odds? Apparently better that I thought.

We're Baaaaack!

It is a bitter sweet reunion with home. It is amazing to me how much God can do in one lifetime let alon a week. I now feel better prepared to tackle this last year. And I now know that even though I'm not sure where I will go to school next year I will be placed exactly where I should be. I am also amazed at the sheer grandure of not only Chicago but the world. (once again) For a city so beautiful and so large it is still very small and lost to God. "For I know the plans I have for you, to prosper you not to harm you." And on top of all that I managed to not loose my CD's or my Bible.

LORD OF MERCY AND GRACE. THANK YOU. This is pretty much the best thing that has ever happened to me. After the Sound of Music I was sure to get a picture with my two favorite nuns Catherine and Jordan. I think my life is now complete after I not only posed with nuns but got kissed BY TWO at the same time. Thank you everone at the make a wish foundation for making this lifelong dream come true. Posted by Picasa

This is a sad day for humanity. As Seth ends his blogs he ends a little peice of everyones blog. Even for those of us who weren't links on his blog, we depended on his to keep us going. Now I think aliens really will come to earth and extenguish us.

War of the Bats

What a great Thursday! I saw War of the Worlds and Batman. How awesome? Well Speilberg managed to scare the crap out of me again. Like I might putWOTW a few spaces below Jurassic Park in scariness. Even E.T. scared me! But not A.I. I stood strong in that one. I think it's going to be several weeks before I stop surveying the mountains for tripods. And I just want to say that the basement scene was genious and pretty much the scariest thing this side of the Mississippi. As for Batman, I totally loved it. I apologize for not giving him enough credit. He kicks. But my question is, will there be another Bat movie from this guy? I mean last time I checked there were 52 cards in a deck and we only got one in the end.
